Always greeted with a warm welcoming smile and genuine kindness, the staff here are awesome as is the owner, a really lovely chap. These guys really care about what they do and they care about their customers too.and this really shines through. The Gurkha Bar and Grill is a really lovely place to go for some great food or just a nice relaxed drink to watch live sport. The food is exceptional and whether it has been just me and the missus or with a friend group of 20 no one has ever been disappointed. The food is all freshly made to order, super tasty and arrives piping hot with everyone receiving their food together. Always plenty of staff at hand to make your visit a great one. I have no reservations in recommending this place, give it a go! You will definitely go back again and again.

My wife had a mixed grill (can't remember what it was called on the menu) and I had a King Prawn Masala. Both were absolutely excellent, and reasonably priced. There were four of us in total, and we had a main, two poppadoms, and two drinks each, and the bill came to 22 a person. The service was a little slow, but it was a very busy Saturday night. (We booked a table in advance, the place was full). The atmosphere is good, you can tell it used to be a pub but it has a certain charm because of it. Staff are very nice and boxed up the rest of my wife's grill that she didn't finish. (The portions are big!) Would definitely reccomend if you're in the mood for an Indian.

Grabbed a takeaway as me and my children were in the area for the night and it has good reviews - all praises were absolutely warranted!! Food was flavoursome, fresh, and incredible value. Kids meals were also wonderful. Staff were so friendly and helpful, if we were to return we would eat in as the restaurant was so light and open.

I've been a couple times now to dine in and I've had takeaways delivered via UberEats. Last meal we had was the sizzling mixed grill, lots there, especially if you're having sides. Doesn't matter if I've dined in or delivered, the quality has been amazing and the food delicious! The staff are great and friendly. Very polite and professional. Just a heads up, as it's also classed as a bar. The last we went, we were seated downstairs in the bar area and a football match started. It started to get pretty crowded around our table pretty fast with people queueing for the bar and standing around watching the game
